Jasjit Bhattal, Lehman's Asia CEO has been asked to join the firm's 13 member Executive Committee. This is the first time Lehman will include an Asian representative on this committee, which comprises the firm's most senior leaders. The move marks Lehman's recognition of Asia as an essential and rapidly growing part of its business.
