A hairy experience for Carsten and Alister

Winning the quarter final of the World Cup proved to be more than just a close shave for South Korea. It also meant that CSFB''s Carsten Stoehr and Alister Moss had to go bald.

Many people in Asia cheered when South Korea defeated Spain on June 22. Many were undoubtedly from Credit Suisse First Boston after pledging $13,000 to see DCM head, Carsten Stoehr, and syndicate head, Alister Moss, lose their hair.

The wager had been laid down during a light-hearted moment or perhaps light-headed over dinner with FinanceAsia a few days earlier. Were Korea to win and at least $10,000 be raised for Oxfam in Hong Kong, then the two agreed to have their hair shaved off ahead of the semi final against Germany the following Tuesday.

Here is what both men looked like upon joining CSFB.
